A Good Short Story

This blog is not all about weightloss. This isn't a "weightloss blog" per say, although that is an important part of what's going on in the cave. I like to enjoy things around me and enjoy things on the internet. So if I run across something cool, I'm going to share it with everybody. So, that being said, this is a gem of a website and a gem of a story if you like Jack London. As a side note, legend says that this was Lenin's favorite story of all time.

Yes, this is me. OK, so I'm not as hairy as a caveman should be. I do live in a cave though.....figuritively.

I did enjoy my pizza and beer. I've never been much of a candy person. Maybe a cookie person, but definately not candy. Too much chocolate will give me a migrane.

Magic eye

These are some of the coolest pictures I've ever seen because if you look at the picture just right, you can see a 3-D image. I'm sure you all know this. It takes a little practice though because you gotta relax your eyes and kinda look through the picture.

Mission Statement

So, what is the purpose of this blog?

Basically, it's just a journal of my life and the world we live in.

I am a 38 year old guy who is married to a wonderful woman. We have no kids, but someday that might be a possibility if I lose some weight. That's my mission in life now. I need to lose weight. That will be part of what this blog is about, but it is mostly about the way I see the world.

Welcome to "the cave". Sure, I've had other blogs, but they didn't suit me anymore. My last one was a learning experience as to how to best handle a blog and what to do with it. I think I've finally got the hang of doing a blog the right way and now that you've found this place, please stick around for awhile and enjoy it. There's many things I've yet to explore. I guess you'll just have to find out who I am as we go along because I'm not giving too much away in the beginning. I prefer to remain as this picture above suggests. It really won't look like much more than a bunch of colors all mixed up until you learn how to really look at it.
